Norths Rugby Club is a community rugby club with rich history in Brisbane rugby stretching back 90 years. The club competes in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition.
In the Men’s XVs competition, the Hospital Cup is the top tier of the Queensland Premier Rugby competition and provides a strong underpinning pathway to Super Rugby Pacific. Nine clubs play in the league with all games in the competition shown live on Stan Sports.
The Women’s Premier Rugby competition is Queensland’s top Women’s XVs competition. The competition is made up of same nine Queensland Premier Rugby clubs. The competition also serves as a pathway to higher honours, with many players involved in the Queensland Reds Super W and Wallaroos programs beginning their careers in Premier Rugby.
In total, the Club fields eight XV teams playing over a number of divisions including three under 20 teams, twenty five junior boys teams, six junior girls teams and also competes in summer 7’s competitions.
Norths is home to several associated clubs and teams including the Norths Junior Rugby Club, the Bustards Eagles for over 35 year old players, GingerCloud Foundation's Modified Rugby Program for young people with Autism or learning and perceptual disabilities, Wavell Heights OzTag and the Brisbane Hustlers, Brisbane’s premier gay & inclusive rugby union team who are currently ranked 4th in the world at the 2022 Bingham Cup.
