Rugby 7s
There has been an explosion of interest and growth in Rugby 7s. Norths has a long tradition with Rugby 7s stretching back to the pioneering Redcliffe Rugby 7s in the 80s. Today, our close ties with the communities of the Pacific Island Nations, the world leaders in Rugby 7s, gives us great access to many talented 7s players. Norths also hosts the annual Brisbane Fiji Day 7s tournament each October, featuring 16 local, interstate and international teams in an existing and colourful carnival atmosphere.
Our 2018 Program runs from August to November and we will field a competitive team in the new Queensland Premier 7s Competition. The program is well resourced and headed up by coaches Glenn Baron and Jordan Taupou, with assisting management and support staff.

- Fun - 7s is an opportunity for new friendships and player combinations to form within the club, and the chance for our players to extend their relationships with the broader rugby community.
