Player Responsibilities
Operate within the Player Code of Conduct below
- Follow club registration processes.
- Follow club fee payment guidelines.
- Attend nominated training sessions, games or club activities,
- Ensure that they are prepared for and ready to commence training sessions on time.
- If you are not able to attend training or will be late for training you must notify the respective Team Manager, Coach or team mate.
- In the event of unavailability on game day you are to notify respective Team Manager, Coach or team mate.
- Arrive on game day at the time advised by your Coaches and Managers.
- To support your club mates in other grades.
- To be available as a reserve for higher grades, Colts included.
- Perform rostered team club duties ie; BBQ gear storage, raffles, canteen etc
- When injured advise your Team Manager, Coach the Player Liaison Representatives to establish a suitable rehabilitation program.
Player Code of Conduct
The following code of conduct is endorsed by Club Management and is designed to make players aware of the expectations when representing North Brisbane Rugby Union Club. This code is designed to be in the best interests of the all players and benefit the entire, including sponsors and members. Failure to operate within the code of conduct may result in being temporarily or permanently ineligible for team selection.

- For Training - all players are to arrive at the club and be ready to commence training at 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- All players should train to the best of their ability
- On Match Day - all players are to arrive at the ground at the time advised by the respective Team Managers.
- All players must be in a fit and suitable condition to play rugby union.
- Make every effort to attend nominated club events and functions.
Attire:
- All players are to arrive at the ground on match day wearing the Club Polo Shirt, long pants and dress shoes.
- All players are to wear the club shorts and socks for matches.
- All players are to train in appropriate attire, boots and mouth guards.
On field behaviour:
- All players are to play within the Laws of the game of Rugby Union.
- All players are to show respect to Referees and Assistant Referees.
- The captain is the ONLY player to approach on field officials unless requested.
- All players are to show respect to opposition players and officials.
- All players are to play the Club style of Rugby developed by the Coaching Staff.
- All players are to play in a spirit which brings credit and respect to themselves and the Club.
- All players are to show respect to their team mates and have total commitment to the Team.
Off field behaviour:
- All players are to conduct themselves in a manner, which only brings credit to themselves and the Club.
- All players are to be courteous and respectful of Club Officials, Sponsors and Supporters.
- All players are to be respectful of Opposition Officials and Supporters.
- All players are to show respect for the Club’s property.
- All players should NOT bring and/or consume alcohol purchased elsewhere.
